Trading journal for tastytrade

What comes in

• Stocks, options, futures and options on futures, by themselves every 15 minutes, and within seconds of a fill while TradeRecall is open.
• Every order with every change: placed, moved, replaced, cancelled, filled. A stop or target still working shows on the open trade.
• Legs opened in one order are one strategy: one card, one sentence, one trade in your reports.
• A roll or the wheel is one campaign: a roll that lost 100 and then made 320 is one win of +220.
• Expiries, assignments, exercises, splits, symbol changes, dividends and borrow fees are followed through when tastytrade reports them.

While the trade is open

• Live Greeks on each option leg and their sum on the strategy ("Δ +32 · Θ +$14.00/day"), saved at entry.
• The unrealized amount at tastytrade's price, or "no price" when it is not current. Never a guess, never in a total.
• Capital at risk and return on capital, or "unknown" with the reason when it cannot be known.

Read-only, on your computer

You create your own read-only app on my.tastytrade.com. The three values you paste stay in your computer's secure storage (the Keychain on a Mac, Windows' protected storage), never in the journal, its backups or exports. TradeRecall only reads: it cannot place, change or cancel an order.

Say why while you trade

⌥⌘J on a Mac or Win+Shift+J on Windows starts and stops a voice note while you trade, and the note goes onto the trade you are in. Voice trading journal
